Thank you to everyone who came out to see us this weekend! You blew us away! It’s crazy... at the first annual OCU Soulfest in 2012, my band was the “headliner” and we played to a crowd of maybe 75 people. That night, a girl I’d never met before named Leah Helms was singing and opening the show. As we walked in during her sound check, I heard her beautiful voice and I jokingly told my guitar player and buddy Tanner, “I’m gonna marry that girl”. Well, fast forward 7 years... her name is now Leah Cochren and I just headlined the event again with her by my side playing to a packed gymnasium. I’m very grateful for every single day that I get to do what I love with the people I love.
